Poole Pottery Coffee Mug and Saucer, light blue - Compact shape

Approx 8 cm tall. In excellent condition. Light blue glaze inside and out.

The compact shape was introduced around 1965 and available 5 colorways: Broadstone Charcoal, Chestnut, light blue  and Choisya. Poole would advertise them as: 'ovenproof, stackable, space-saving, robustly made, detergent-proof and generous sizes'. Designed by Robert Jefferson and one of the hugely successful ranges.
